Steps To Stay Proactive In Preventing the Coronavirus in St. Petersburg FL

Our practice is OPEN for Business... Please know we are taking the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in St. Petersburg FL very seriously.

As of June 24th at 5pm EST, ORDINANCE NO.20-14 has been put in place for all of Pinellas County.  According to Section 3, Subsection 2, Paragraph "e" of the ordinance, health care facilities are exempt from face covering requirements due to the multitude of health conditions our patients face.  Therefore, in order to continue to protect our patients and families, we have instituted the following procedural guidelines:

  • We are not open to the general public.
  • We are accepting New Patients, with enhanced screening measures.
  • All existing patients must adhere to their schedule as no walk-ins will be permitted.

Lastly, in order to comply with FEDERAL HIPPA Laws, we will not impose mandatory masks for our patients or staff.  Please feel free to protect yourself in any way you feel necessary.

As always, thank you for helping us protect our community.

To help contain the spread of the virus, please let us know in advance of your next visit if:

  1. You have traveled internationally in the last 14 days or returned from a cruise in the
  2. You have flu-like symptoms, esp. fever, cough or difficulty breathing.
  3. You have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
  4. You have been directly exposed to someone who has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We have implemented the following changes to our St. Petersburg FL practice until the threat of the virus has subsided:

  1. We are asking all patients to adhere to their scheduled appointment as well as alter your schedule to our new hours, if possible.
  2. We are asking all patients to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.
  3. We have designed table #1 for our senior and maternity patients.
  4. We have significantly increased our anti-viral cleaning efforts by cleaning the adjusting tables, doorknobs, light switches, computers, and faucets multiple times per day. Additionally, supplies will be available for you to disinfect/sanitize the adjusting tables if you so choose before and after your individual use.
  5. We have removed the toys from the reception room.

The best practices to follow to prevent Coronavirus (COVID-19) are:

  1. Get regular spinal adjustments as they are well know to increase immunity. Consider getting adjusted more frequently until the viral threat passes.
  2. Wash your hands with soap and water frequently for at least 20 seconds. Pay close attention to your fingernails, between your fingers and the back of the hands.
  3. Avoid touching your face.
  4. Get an extra 30-60 minutes of sleep per day.
  5. Stay hydrated.
  6. Stay home if you are sick.
  7. Take your supplements daily as well as eat healthy and avoid sugar. (Take supplements to boost your immunity. We recommend elderberry, vitamin C, vitamin D, probiotics, vitamin C, youth factor as well as the Wellness Chews for energy and sleep.)
